The Transformation: From Container to Red Carpet Event

We are proud to present this project, which was full of challenges — and we didn’t even have a full (short February) month to complete it. The SAY Security Technology Forum was a meeting of senior managers, and the only venue available to us was a container office. Our task was to transform this space so that both its visual identity and functionality would meet high expectations.
Enjoying our client’s full trust, we were given almost complete creative freedom in designing the overall concept. Of course, we received certain guidelines, but essentially the full design development was entrusted to us. Beyond the graphic identity, the concept also included furnishing the space with the appropriate furniture and décor — meeting the standards expected at a red carpet event, while still preserving the distinctive features of the training program. The program did not debut in our country; it is implemented regularly worldwide according to specific international standards.

The event consisted of three locations: a training room (container room), an outdoor area, and a restaurant (container room). Our most spectacular space was the outdoor lounge, where guest arrivals and photo sessions took place. It also became the favourite spot during breaks, as we had “ordered” beautiful sunny spring weather for the occasion (😊), so every guest felt drawn to the outdoors. The surrounding containers and industrial atmosphere were concealed with large built walls, where we also placed the red carpet and added some décor to elevate the ambiance. A bit of background music — and the perfect spring lounge atmosphere was ready. It’s worth watching the before-and-after video of the area here; it’s no wonder it became our favourite space as well.

Designing the training room required extremely precise planning and a great deal of work. The room’s low ceiling height, small floor area, and pillar-divided layout presented a real challenge — every single centimetre counted — but we solved it. With highly accurate 3D plans, both we and the client were continuously up to date throughout the process. We made the room feel welcoming with flowers and curtains and dressed it entirely in the event’s visual identity from floor to ceiling.

We prepared a full-day coffee break worthy of the event, complete with snacks, and for lunch, guests could choose from a rich buffet selection.

Some statistics: The event was organized in less than a month—we had only 28 days from the moment the proposal was submitted. During the planning phase, we conducted three site visits and held five in-person meetings with the client. Four organizers worked on the project, and a total of 40 people contributed to the construction and execution over two days.
We closed the event with our client’s full satisfaction. It’s no secret — we love projects like this! 😊
