Event: Christmas dinner and awards ceremony
The Aalberts factory presents a unique challenge for us every year, as the layout and usage of the facility constantly change. Even though we already know the location well, every event begins with a site inspection to map the placement of equipment and machinery, as well as to identify the available free space. Each year we create the Christmas dinner venue in a different area of the factory, always enriched with stage programs such as award ceremonies, end-of-year reviews, executive speeches, and interactive games.
The factory environment itself shapes the event’s atmosphere, and we usually face at least one unexpected obstacle to overcome—something that was not present during the initial site inspection but appears on the day of the event. That is the nature of hosting an event inside a factory rather than bringing employees to a dedicated venue. Last time was no exception: a stack of pallets appeared unexpectedly, but with a touch of improvisation we incorporated it into the visual design. It turned out to be a great decision, serving as an authentic backdrop for the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
Projection is always a key factor, as the event starts in the afternoon and continues into the evening. Despite the natural daylight flooding in, we ensure crystal-clear visuals with powerful projectors and a professional AV team—nothing is impossible for us. Each year we raise the atmosphere further: once it gets dark, we switch on ambient lighting and decorative effects, transforming the factory and dinner area into a truly festive scene. Combined with the scent of mulled wine, the lights create a genuine Christmas feeling, allowing colleagues to step out of their everyday routine, connect with one another and with management, enjoy good food and drinks, and celebrate together.
We are thankful to Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems for their continuous trust in us — not only for their annual Christmas parties, but also for other events over the years. We have organized factory inaugurations, executive team-building events, and guided plant tours for international delegations.
