Event: Team building
At the request of WCA Projects Network, we participated in the organization of the Budapest conference with several programs, including a team building event, which was the opening of the entire Budapest conference, on day zero. So the seriousness of the task was given: to establish a good atmosphere in Budapest for a 3-day conference.
Our client wanted to get out of the world of classic bus tours. They travel a lot and take guided city tours by hopping on and off buses everywhere, which, let’s admit, is boring many times – no matter how beautiful the city is. This was the task we had to fulfill and that’s actually why the city tour turned into an interactive program, a team building event. The basic idea was to come up with very simple, humorous and enjoyable tasks for the guests. This included, for example, building a bridge, buying wine spritz, discovering the recipe for a good Hungarian goulash soup and learning to dance. The program ended with an early afternoon boat lunch, which we organized on the most beautiful boat in Budapest. The weather was kind to us, so the guests were able to admire the unique beauty of Budapest from the upper deck.
To close Day 0, we also participated in organizing the Welcome reception, which was hosted by the conference hotel. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the claw machine. Yes! As we saw, each and every guest played with it, and we played with it too, because claw machines are fun! The sponsor of the event also loved the idea, which is an excellent opportunity to highlight the sponsors. We think we managed to achieve the desired atmosphere for the start of the conference.
